That Moment

The English-Irish pop group One Direction is the quintessential “boy band” for our times: its members are adorable young singers with a talent for crooning upbeat pop tunes and capturing teen girls’ hearts. In 2010, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson met while taking part in the British television competition “The X Factor.” They didn’t succeed as separate competitors, but when judge Simon Cowell put them together as a group, they became One Direction and launched their wildly successful career. Their first studio album, Up All Night, was released in 2011; it was followed by more best-selling albums and a string of hit singles. Soon after they achieved global fame as a musical group, One Direction began working with Olivann Beauty and Fusion Brands Inc. (owner of the CLEAN fragrance brand) to design and launch a fragrance for the band. The result was Our Moment, released in 2013. Its name was inspired by One Direction’s song “Moments,” and its composition was a light fruity floral blend. Our Moment was followed by That Moment, packaged in a similar pink bottle with a crown-shaped cap, and You & I, named for another song recorded by the group.
